Weekly bookings are Saturday to Saturday (except Tarka's Holt that takes bookings Friday to Friday). All lettings commence at 3.00 pm on the day of arrival, and properties should be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. We regret that we cannot allow the number of occupants to exceed the stated number, with the exception of one additional cot.
In the event that you have to cancel your reservation, every effort will be made to re-let your cottage. If successful any monies paid will be refunded (less an administration charge of £15). If we are unable to re-let, you are liable for the full amount of the rental. You are advised to insure against such an eventuality and we will send you an application form with your booking confirmation.
Cottages are all electric( with the exception of Tarka's Holt) and electricity is charged at cost, based on meter readings. Settlement of the account is required before departure. Tarka's Holt is an all inclusive log cabin and there is not an additional charge for electricity or gas.
Rules for the safe use of the swimming pool by visitors to Stowford Lodge will be sent out with each enquiry. Use of the swimming pool is conditional upon acceptance of these rules.
We regret that we cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage to any car or its contents or the personal effects of the guests occupying the property, and the use of all amenities at the property are entirely at the user's risk.
We do not charge for minor damages or breakages, but damage or breakages exceeding £10 in value shall be reimbursed on request.
Dogs are welcome at Stowford Lodge by arrangement in Warren, Tarquol, Halcyon and Old Nog Cottages, on the understanding that they are looked after in the proper manner. There is an additional charge of £15 per dog per week with a maximum of two dogs per cottage. Dogs must not be shut in the holiday accommodation unattended, and must not be allowed to sleep on the furniture. Stowford Lodge is surrounded by farmland, and therefore the strictest control will be required at all times. Any damage caused by your pet will be the full responsibility of its owner.
The hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to take all reasonable care of it. All equipment, utensils, etc, must be left clean and the property left clean and tidy after your stay.
All cottages, including Tarka's Holt, are non-smoking.
